Glenn Alexander & Shadowland featuring The New York Horns & Oria

Glenn Alexander & Shadowland is a band with a big sound – a killing rhythm section, three horns, backup singers and is comprised of several members of Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, including Chris Anderson (Southside Johnny, Celia Cruz); John Isley (Southside Johnny, Diana Ross); and Neal Pawley (Southside Johnny, Tom Jones). Shadowland also boasts Greg Novick (Bernie Worrell); Dave Anthony (Dennis DeYoung, Glen Burtnik) and Oria on lead and background vocals. Together they form a supergroup that combines rock, soul, blues and roots music in a unique and rockin’ way. They deliver “guitar-driven, horn-laced, in-your-face, soulful, blues-drenched music,” but throws some funky and greasy stuff in the skillet for good measure. No flashy bells and whistles – just a group of great musicians playing and singing their hearts out.
