Poor Man’s Opera

The Poor Man’s Opera is a band that has been playing every juke joint, roadhouse, and saloon in Jersey for the past decade. So, you can be sure that they’ve got a pretty good idea of what folks like to hear. They play an eclectic mix of songs that are a little bit Country, a little bit Rock ‘n’ Roll, and a whole lotta shakin’ – from well-known popular covers to all but forgotten radio gold, now lost in the mists of time. It’s music that you’ve heard before, perhaps a long, long time ago, though you might not be able to remember just who originally performed it, or when. Still, somewhere around the second chorus, you just might find yourself singing along.
