Small Business Spotlight: Rosa-ly Pierogi
Last week marked the season’s last Food Truck Friday, a sweet ending, as they say, with Sip ‘n Swirl’s hand-churned ice cream and frozen novelties. But fear not – the music will play on! Fan favorite Autumn Jones returns on Friday, with her smooth and original R&B sounds, and Blues Americana, another Pickett’s regular, will rock the crowd on Saturday. And the $5 drafts will continue to pour.
In other news, have you ever thought about how wondrous it is that every culture has some version of a dumpling? Italy has ravioli, Armenia has manti, West Africa has fufu, Japan has gyoza, Russia has pelmeni, India has samosas, China has siu mai (and approximately a zillion other varieties), and Poland, well, Poland has pierogis. Dumpling lovers rejoice – we’ve got ‘em.
